RN Nurse Manager - Outpatient Oncology

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily clinical and operational workflows within the oncology practice
  • Hire, onboard, supervise, and evaluate clinical staff
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and regulatory standards
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, payroll, and supply budgets
  • Drive quality improvement, patient safety, and patient experience initiatives
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care

Leadership Expectations

  • Lead and manage clinical staff, ensuring safe, high-quality, evidence-based care
  • Promote a culture of patient safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Develop staff through coaching, mentoring, and performance management
  • Drive operational, quality, and financial outcomes using data and best practices
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and mission-driven work environment
  • Lead through change and support strategic initiatives across the organization

Qualifications

  • Active RN license
  • BSN required
  • 3+ years of RN experience
  • Prior practice management or leadership experience
  • Oncology or ambulatory care experience preferred
