RN - Neurology (Inpatient)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement and modify nursing interventions based on patient evaluation.
• Ensure patient safety through adherence to safety protocols and safety hazard reporting.
• Delegate tasks to healthcare assistants and validate completion.
• Perform and document routine nursing activities, including vital signs, medication administration, and patient education.
• Respond promptly to patient needs, monitor neurological changes, and manage emergencies such as seizures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN license and BLS certification.
• High school diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Ability to perform assessments, interpret vital signs, and deliver safe patient care.
• Effective communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
