RN - Neuro Reg Care 8T; 0.6 FTE, Night Shifts; e/o Fri - Mon

Shift: Night shifts; 12-hour shifts, every other Monday–Friday with holiday rotation. Benefit eligible.

About the role

The Registered Nurse performs patient care procedures and skills acquired through graduation from an accredited school of nursing. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care according to hospital policies, procedures, protocols, and care standards. The RN is responsible for direct and indirect care of patients through supervision of select delegated nursing acts and collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.

Join our 45-bed Neuro/Med-Surgical unit! Our staff utilize a dynamic, multidisciplinary team approach to provide high-quality, compassionate care to complex neurological, medical, and surgical patients. This unit is an excellent opportunity for new graduates or experienced nurses to provide direct nursing care to patients that can include, but is not limited to, acute stroke, chronic neurological illnesses, neurosurgery, and general medical and surgical patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with hospital policies and standards
• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients
• Supervise select delegated nursing acts
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members

Requirements

• Graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); other nursing degrees considered on an individual basis
• Previous patient care experience (may be as a student in a clinical setting)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin
• Current CPR certification or eligible to complete within 3 months of hire
• Must be available the first 2 weeks of employment on the day shift to attend orientation

Pay

$43.89+ per hour

Schedule

• 24 hours per week
• Night shifts; 12-hour shifts, every other Friday–Monday with holiday rotation
• Weekends required
