RN - Neuro Reg Care 8T; 0.6 FTE, Night Shifts

About the role

The Registered Nurse performs patient care procedures and skills acquired through graduation of an accredited school of nursing. The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care according to hospital policies, procedures, protocols and care standards. The RN is responsible for direct and indirect care of patients through the supervision of select delegated nursing acts and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect care of patients through supervision of select delegated nursing acts
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members

Work schedule

• Full-time equivalent: 0.6
• Shift: Nights; 12-hour shifts
• Every other Friday, Saturday and Sunday
• One additional 12-hour shift within a two-week pay period
• Holiday rotation included

Work environment

45-bed Neuro/Med-Surgical unit providing high-quality, compassionate care to complex neurological, medical and surgical patients, including acute stroke, chronic neurological illnesses, neurosurgery, general medical and surgical patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); other nursing degrees considered on an individual basis
• Previous patient care experience (may include clinical rotations as a student)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin
• Current CPR certification or eligible to complete within 3 months of hire
• Must be available the first 2 weeks of employment on the day shift to attend orientation

Compensation

$43.89 per hour
