RN - Nephrology Clinic

Facility: Sanford Broadway Medical Building, Fargo, ND

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Nephrology Team, working 32 hours per week. The clinic is open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with no weekends or holidays. Ideal candidates are adaptable, great communicators, detail-oriented, and have excellent time management skills. These RNs collaborate with providers to guide patients to the appropriate level of care.

Responsibilities

• Answer patient inquiries over the telephone, assessing the severity of symptoms and medical needs according to triage algorithms.
• Address inquiries via phone and MyChart messaging.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Utilize nursing and assessment skills.
• Adhere to triage protocols.
• Rooming, phone triage, medication refills, and outreach.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program preferred (e.g., AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA).
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• One year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice occurs and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Nurses performing nursing practice over the telephone require licensure in the states where the patients being served reside.
• Within the first 30 days of employment, all requirements to obtain the license needed for the role must be completed.
• Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.

Pay

Salary range: $29.50 - $44.50 per hour. $15,000 sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates.

Schedule

• Full-time, 32 hours per week.
• Day shifts, 8-hour shifts.
• Clinic hours: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (no weekends or holidays).
