RN Mother Baby NN

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide expert care in a Mother Baby Post Partum unit. Key responsibilities include independently planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care based on standards and policies, while delivering direct nursing services. The role involves performing comprehensive assessments, prioritizing patient needs, developing and revising care plans, administering medications safely, and providing patient and family education. The nurse will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in quality improvement activities, and ensure documentation accuracy in electronic medical records. Effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues is essential, along with problem-solving and resource management. Qualifications include licensure as an RN in Florida, BLS certification, and intermediate computer skills. Specialized certifications such as NRP, STABLE, PALS, and ALS are required or preferred based on the department focus, with ongoing education to maintain competencies. The role demands knowledge of neonatal, obstetrical, and pediatric nursing diagnoses, fetal monitoring, medication administration, and use of clinical equipment. The nurse must also demonstrate leadership, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning to support optimal patient outcomes.
