Schedule
Full‑time, Shift Day (United States of America). Day (7 a.m.) and Night (7 p.m.) shifts are available.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough, ongoing assessments of patients, analyze assessment data, and develop individualized, evidence‑based plans of care aligned with interdisciplinary goals.
- Implement interventions from the plan of care safely, timely, and appropriately, documenting actions taken.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills appropriate to the patient’s level of care.
- Collect and document patient health data systematically and timely.
- Collaborate and promote timely patient placement by following hospital policy for admission, discharge, and transfer.
- Participate in peer interviewing and peer review processes as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff, maintaining professional relationships and promoting a positive environment.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and care plans, ensuring understanding and compliance based on assessed learning needs.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies, ensuring legal and ethical practice.
- Participate in quality, safety, effectiveness, efficiency, and impact initiatives related to nursing services.
- Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring patient rights and needs are respected and addressed.
- Ensure appropriate use and stewardship of medical supplies and equipment to support patient safety and operational efficiency.
- Provide safe and effective handoff communication and documentation.
- Follow CDC isolation guidelines, use PPE appropriately, perform hand hygiene per policy, and enforce safety regulations.

- Promote a positive patient experience by demonstrating caring behaviors, clear communication, and collaboration with the care team.

Requirements
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Communication, delegation, coordination, evaluation, assessment, and interpersonal skills; ability to navigate Microsoft Windows‑based programs; prior hospital/perinatal nursing experience (preferred).
- Education: Associate’s of Nursing (required); Bachelor’s of Nursing (preferred).
- Work Experience: 1+ year experience in obstetrical/perinatal nursing (preferred); prior hospital/perinatal nursing experience (preferred).
- Licenses and Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) (required); Basic Life Support – CPR (BLS) (required); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (required); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) (preferred).

Pay
Pay range: $33.61 – $62.53 per hour.
