Responsibilities
- Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute care facilities.
- Create a supportive and educational clinical environment that promotes student growth and professional development.
- Prepare and submit student progress reports and grade reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance records.
- Evaluate student competence based on program philosophy and objectives.
- Implement evaluation devices to measure student learning and clinical experience.
- Attend faculty meetings and participate in professional development activities.
- Maintain professional qualifications as a Registered Nurse Instructor through ongoing education and training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Valid State RN license required.
- At least 3 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.

- Effective organizational and prioritization skills.
- Ability to effectively supervise students in clinical settings.
