RN Mental Health Clinical Instructor

About the role

Jersey College is seeking a RN Mental Health Clinical Instructor to join our dedicated team. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide clinical instruction at various healthcare settings and guide students towards academic and professional success.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute care facilities.
• Create a supportive and educational environment for students.
• Prepare and submit student progress reports and grade reports.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance records.
• Evaluate student competence based on program philosophy and objectives.
• Implement evaluation devices to measure student learning and clinical experience.
• Attend faculty meetings and participate in professional development activities.
• Supervise students in the clinical setting and deliver effective lessons.
• Ensure all evaluations are conducted according to established standards.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN).
• Current valid State RN license.
• At least 3 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The RN Mental Health Clinical Instructor will work Monday and Tuesday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, starting as soon as possible during the summer term.
