About the role
Join a fast-paced Med Surg unit as a registered nurse, providing care to general adult patients with diverse illnesses and injuries.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patients' physical, psychosocial, and health histories.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans to achieve desired outcomes.
- Coordinating care activities and supervising support staff.
- Providing patient education and documenting care in records.
- Communicating concerns to the healthcare team and ensuring quality care.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Active RN license in the state; BCLS certification required.
- Additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy) as applicable to specialty area.
- Excellent communication, leadership, initiative, and ability to handle stressful environments.
- New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred.
