About the Role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver quality patient care within organizational policies and procedures.
• Maintain standards of practice and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
• Oversee the activities of assigned staff to ensure effective care delivery.
• Provide age-appropriate care from birth through the lifecycle.
• Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and adherence to standards.
• Obtain specialty certifications as applicable within specified timeframes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe, effective patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• No prior experience required; new graduates are eligible.
• Valid Georgia RN license or multistate licensure and BCLS certification required.

Additional Certifications

Additional certifications may be required based on specialty area (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NICU, Women's Services certifications).
