About the Role

This position involves providing high-quality patient care on an acute Med-Surg unit, utilizing the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team approach. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, safety, and patient-centered care, including precepting new staff and adapting to a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to moderate to high acuity patients.
• Apply specialty standards and evidence-based care models.
• Model proficiency and support team education through precepting.
• Ensure safety, quality, and effective communication at the point of care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; preferred Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• Minimum 6 months of RN experience.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire; BLS certification prior to start.
