About the role
This nursing role involves providing patient care using the nursing process and the relevant conceptual framework. The position requires professional accountability in delivering quality care, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality in a diverse medical-surgical unit managing complex conditions such as infectious diseases, postoperative recovery, and chronic illnesses.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and implement individualized care plans
- Ensure patient safety and quality care delivery
- Coordinate with other healthcare departments
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current RN licensure in the relevant state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform prolonged standing and walking
Schedule
Weekend night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with an orientation period.
