RN - Medical Surgical - Full Time - Nights

About the Role

Registered Nurse (RN) in a Med/Surg unit, utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care, evaluate care effectiveness, and coordinate with other departments. Deliver quality care to diverse patient conditions including GI, Oncology, post-op recovery, COPD, pneumonia, UTI, dehydration, and wound care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and administer treatments
• Monitor patient progress and collaborate with patient care associates
• Maintain proper documentation and adhere to safety protocols
• Ensure patient rights and confidentiality
• Maintain professional accountability and perform duties aligned with mission and standards
• Support team collaboration

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• Active RN license
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
• Must meet state nursing requirements
• Unit-specific certifications with timelines for completion
