RN - Medical Surgical Day Shift

Summary of the Role

This position involves coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process, which guides clinical decision-making to partner with patients and families in maintaining, restoring, or improving health. The nurse combines caring, compassion, knowledge, and integrity to ensure safe, high-quality care that respects patient autonomy, dignity, and rights.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Administer prescribed medications
• Provide health education to patients and families
• Participate in healthcare improvement activities
• Collaborate with team members
• Provide clinical leadership
• Support lifelong learning
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Computer literacy
• Active RN license
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire
