RN Medical Surgical Cardiac - Full Time

About the role

Seeking compassionate registered nurses for a full-time position in a fast-paced Cardiac Med Surg unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care using medical-surgical nursing standards.
• Develop individualized care plans through assessments, diagnoses, interventions, and evaluations.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure holistic care.
• Educate patients and families on health measures to promote recovery and comfort.
• Apply evidence-based practices tailored to patients' physical, cultural, and social needs.
• Serve as a mentor to colleagues and foster a positive work environment.
• Perform point of care testing and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
• Current RN licensure in applicable states with BLS certification.
• No prior experience required.

Skills and physical requirements

• Effective communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive movements.
• Use of vision, hearing, smell, and other senses to monitor patients and environment.

Schedule

Night shift with every third weekend and holiday rotation.
