About the role
Join a fast-paced Cardiac Med Surg unit as a registered nurse, providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a 19-bed cardiovascular setting.
Responsibilities
- Apply medical-surgical nursing standards to enhance patient care and quality of life.
- Develop personalized care plans through assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to meet diverse needs.
- Educate patients and families on health promotion and comfort measures.
- Utilize leadership, communication, and evidence-based practices to ensure safe and effective care.
- Perform point-of-care testing and other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Valid RN license and BLS certification (per state requirements).
Physical requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting, reaching, and communication tasks.
- Occasional patient lifting and movement.
