Job Summary Provides direct and indirect patient care in various settings, collaborating with healthcare teams to improve outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to deliver high-quality services while respecting patient autonomy and dignity. Responsible for general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritization, with flexibility to perform additional tasks as needed. Responsibilities Accurately assesses patients based on medical conditions.Administers medications as prescribed, ensuring safety and effectiveness.Provides age-appropriate care, including basic self-care activities.Develops and evaluates patient and family teaching plans.Utilizes nursing knowledge to perform treatments and procedures.Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.Assists physicians with procedures and performs technical tasks.Addresses psychosocial needs and communicates with social services for discharge planning.Practices cost-effective resource management and promotes patient safety.Prioritizes patient care efficiently and commits to ongoing professional learning. Qualifications And Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program.Computer literacy.Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN).Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 14 days of hire.Preferred certifications include ACLS and PALS.
