RN - Med Surg - Weekend Night Program

About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, managing, and providing patient care during hospitalization in a safe, respectful, and patient-centered environment. This role contributes to team efforts, adheres to hospital policies, and upholds standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments, document findings, and evaluate patient needs.
• Develop, coordinate, and evaluate individualized care plans based on assessments and clinical data.
• Administer medications, provide patient and family education, and coordinate referrals and consultations.
• Recognize changes in patient conditions and implement appropriate nursing actions.
• Provide specialized care, including restraint management, pain control, and abuse assessment.
• Ensure documentation accuracy, effective communication, and adherence to safety and infection control policies.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and incorporate evidence-based practices.
• Deliver age-appropriate, cost-effective, and service-oriented care while maintaining professionalism and teamwork.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the respective state(s) of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong clinical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to safety, infection control, and professional development.
