About the Role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all life stages, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They ensure adherence to organizational policies, maintain professional standards, and coordinate patient care activities to deliver quality nursing services.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan patient care based on individual needs
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions
• Coordinate with healthcare team members
• Uphold standards of practice and organizational policies

Requirements

• Graduate from a nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Registered Nurse licensure in Georgia or multistate license
• Current BLS certification
• New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred
• Additional certifications may be required based on specialty area, such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, or chemotherapy certification
