Responsibilities
UNIT DESCRIPTION: 3 East is a 29-bed medical surgical/telemetry unit. 3EB is a focus unit for cardiac and medical patients who have a need for cardiac monitoring, education about their illness, treatment, health restoration, and maintenance. As with all job assignments, staff may be floated to areas where they are needed.
Requirements
- Current Massachusetts RN License
- Evidence of Continuing Education
- Med Surg experience preferred
- Current Telemetry experience or able to pass Telemetry Competency Exam within 90 days of beginning position
- Current AHABLS Certification
- Utilizes appropriate time management skills
- Communicates effectively
- Beth Israel Lahey Health requires that all staff be vaccinated against influenza (flu) as a condition of employment
Qualifications
- Preference will be given, by seniority, to those qualified nurses who were serially displaced within the 18 months following his/her displacement according to MNA contract section 9.4 (f)(1)
- Documented Professional Developmental activities
- Knowledge of Critical Paths
- Charge Nurse experience preferred
- BSN Preferred
- AHA ACLS Preferred
Pay
Pay Range $37.14 - $82.22. This position is covered by
