About the role
Provide patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care with other departments
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
- Manage patients with complex diagnoses such as infectious disease, wound care, pneumonia, sepsis, COPD, diabetes, and post-surgical needs
- Assist with surgical procedures, outpatient infusions, chemo, and anti-coagulation therapies
- Evaluate and support direct care providers
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Valid RN license in the state or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
Skills
- Experience with managing chronic and acute conditions in a medical-surgical setting
- Strong clinical skills
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary care
