About the role
Seeking a registered nurse for a medical-surgical unit in a small, community hospital.
Responsibilities
- Providing direct patient care following established policies and protocols.
- Using nursing standards to enhance care quality and patient outcomes.
- Developing individualized care plans through assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation.
- Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care.
- Educating patients and families on health maintenance and recovery.
- Applying evidence-based practices tailored to patient age and needs.
- Fostering a positive, safe work environment and mentoring colleagues.
- Performing point-of-care testing and other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN license in applicable states with BLS certification.
- No prior experience required.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and patient handling.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a dynamic environment.
