Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional care throughout the patient journey while interacting directly with patients and their families, enhancing their experience and providing education and support as needed.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
- Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing formal and informal education and clinical nursing study.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program).
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
- If in a Critical Care area, an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Certification must be presented upon hire or within first year of hire.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications: Two years of recent related nursing experience.
- Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Skills
- Physical Requirements: Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
- Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
- Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
- Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
- Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Personal Protective Equipment: Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay
Pay Range Minimum hourly: $43.00 Maximum hourly: $43.00
Schedule
A regular PRN position with caregivers working a day/night rotation between 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
