RN - Med Surg, Nights

About the Role

Provide comprehensive patient care in a Medical Surgical unit using the nursing process. Deliver care for adult medical patients with conditions such as bowel obstructions, respiratory infections, cellulitis, diverticulitis, and pneumonia. This role offers opportunities to develop clinical skills in assessment, care planning, and teamwork within a collaborative healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care and evaluate its effectiveness.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Adhere to organizational standards and protocols.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior hospital experience.
• BSN preferred.
• Additional certifications or specialty experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, and kneeling.
