Position Details
- Schedule: Full-Time | 36 hours/week
- Shift: Night Shift | 7:00PM-7:30AM
- Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000 for experienced nurses, Up to $5,000 for new graduate nurses
About The Unit
This unit provides care for a wide variety of adult medical patients. Typical diagnoses include small bowel obstructions, respiratory infections, cellulitis, diverticulitis, pneumonia. Nurses on this unit gain experience with medical patients who require frequent monitoring, thoughtful care planning, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: Associate Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.
- Experience: Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.
- Certifications: Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire. Preferred: Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred.
