Job Description Position: Temp Medical-Surgical RN - Nights - Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off; Night shifts (6 PM to 6 AM) Embrace the thrill of rural nursing and expand your skills while making a difference! Join our Medical Surgical team where you will: - Provide direct and indirect patient care across a diverse patient population, from post-partum neonates to geriatrics. - Work in multiple areas including medical, surgical, high acuity, rehabilitative, skilled, and pediatric care. - Explore opportunities in post-partum care, infusion, wound therapies, and cross-training in the Emergency Department and/or PACU. Minimum Requirements Current, unencumbered RN license in Utah or compact state. - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. - 1-2 years of medical/surgical experience; preferred. - Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certifications (or willingness to obtain within one year of hire). - Willing to earn NRP certification and provide patient care appropriate to certification within one year of hire. - Knowledge of infection control, patient safety techniques, and medication treatment reactions. - Strong critical thinking skills to adapt to rapidly changing situations. - Self-motivated with a team-oriented mindset. - Excellent customer service and communication skills (oral, written, listening). - Ability to manage sensitive information professionally and maintain confidentiality. - Calmly handle stressful situations with professionalism and maturity. - Reliable and punctual with the work schedule. - Flexibility to accept additional duties as assigned.
