RN Med Surg - Nights

About the Role

The registered nurse utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring accountability and evaluating care effectiveness provided by team members. This role involves working on a 25-bed med-surg unit focused on restoring patients to independence post-hospitalization in a rural setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care with other departments
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
• Perform duties aligned with organizational standards and values

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN licensure in the state or compact licensure
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform various movements
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, ENPC) based on unit requirements
