RN Med/Surg- Neuro

About the Role

Join Southcoast Health as a talented RN for the Med/Surg-Neuro unit at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA. This is a great opportunity for new-to-practice nurses to be part of a community-focused, care-driven health system.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee.
• Participate in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice within the assigned unit.
• Ensure care provided is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Three (3) months of experience preferred.
• KSSD certification within 3 months of hire.
• Fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19, or exempt for medical or personal reasons.

Pay

Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. Pay Range: USD $42.37 - USD $77.81 /Hr.

Schedule

36 hours per week, Day/Evening shift, 7:00am - 7:30pm with weekend and holiday rotation.
