RN - Med Surg Day Shift

About the role

Provides patient care by applying the nursing process, emphasizing critical thinking, safety, and compassion. Collaborates with patients and families to promote health, restore, or maintain well-being while respecting their autonomy and dignity. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and develops personalized care plans
• Implements and evaluates the effectiveness of care plans
• Administers prescribed medications
• Provides health education to patients, families, and significant others
• Participates in quality improvement activities
• Communicates and collaborates with healthcare team members
• Provides clinical leadership and supports lifelong learning
• Completes assigned goals efficiently

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum required: RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire
• Preferred: Additional training or certifications as applicable
• Minimum skills: Computer literacy
