Location: Manitowoc, WI (on-site at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital)
FTE: 0.9 (36 standard hours per week, Shift 1)
About the Role
Plans, organizes, coordinates, and provides direct nursing care for an identified group of patients according to specific standards. The following specialties have specific experience requirements:
- Critical Care: At least one year experience in Med/Surg required. Prefer experience in ER and/or CCU nursing. ACLS required within first year of hire.
- Emergency Services: At least one year experience in Med/Surg required. New graduates with Paramedic experience considered. ACLS required within first year of hire. PALS and TNCC preferred.
- Women's and Children's Center: No experience required. Prefer one year experience in Med/Surg, Pediatric, and/or OB nursing. NRP certification required within first year of hire.
- Specialty Float: At least one year experience in Med/Surg required. ER and/or CCU experience preferred. Will float between CCU, ER, and PACU. ACLS required within first year of hire.
- General Float: At least one year experience in Med/Surg required. Will float between Med/Surg, Surgery Center, and Post Partum.
- Medical/Surgical: No experience required. One year experience in Medical Surgical nursing preferred.
- Prep & Holding/PACU: Prefer at least two years experience in CCU, Cardiac Rehab, ER, or Surgical Services nursing. ACLS required within first year of hire.
- Surgery Center/Special Procedures: Prefer two years experience in Med/Surg and/or Ortho nursing. Ambulatory Per-Anesthesia nursing certificate and ACLS preferred.
- Surgical Services: Operating Room: No experience required. Prefer two to three years experience in Surgical/Ortho and/or Operating Room nursing. Operating Room Nurse certificate preferred.
- Cancer Center: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required. Preferred experience in Med/Surg and/or Oncology.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current unrestricted Wisconsin RN license
- Excellent customer service, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent (required within 30 days of hire for Cancer Center; otherwise required at hire)
