About the role

A registered nurse at Baptist Health is accountable for utilizing the nursing process and the training provided by Baptist Health to provide safe, therapeutic, and compassionate patient care. The nurse is expected to demonstrate clinical competence and critical thinking. The RN is responsible for knowing and understanding the policies and processes of the department and the requirements of the organization, and using them in a unified workflow with the rest of the healthcare team to create an exceptional patient experience with the best possible outcomes.

Requirements

• New RN graduate from an accredited nursing program or a Registered Nurse in good standing, licensed to practice in Arkansas
• BSN preferred
• Applies basic knowledge and skills to meet the standard of care
• Able to practice as a full partner of an interdisciplinary team
• RN not actively participating in the Clinical Nurse Advancement Program
• Healthcare CPR certification required; some areas may require ACLS, PALS, and/or NALS (training provided)
• Specialty units require and will provide specific specialty education
• Authorized for 72 hours bi‑weekly

Night shift – working hours 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
