RN, Med Intermediate Float Pool - Tier II
About the Role
Saint Luke's Health System is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Tier II Float Pool. This position will float to various Medical Intermediate units at multiple Saint Luke's facilities, offering the opportunity to work with collaborative multi-disciplinary teams and a supportive leadership team.
Accountable for utilizing the nursing process, performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks, and supervising other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care.
- Perform and delegate patient care tasks.
- Supervise other patient care staff.
- Coordinate the plan of care for assigned patients.
- Consult with other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate proficiency and abide by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
Requirements
- 1 year of applicable experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas (KS) and Missouri (MO) through the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS).
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
Schedule
Full Time, 36 hours per week, Nights.
