RN, Med Intermediate Float Pool - Tier I

About the role

Saint Luke's South is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Tier I Float Pool. This position will float to various Medical Intermediate units at Saint Luke's South.

Schedule: Full Time, 36 hours, Days

Responsibilities

• Gain experience in various units while working in a variety of medical intermediate units.
• Work with collaborative multi-disciplinary teams and a supportive leadership team.
• Utilize the nursing process to perform patient care, delegate patient care tasks, and supervise other patient care staff.
• Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consult with other members of the health care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate proficiency and abide by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.

Requirements

• 2 years of applicable experience as a Registered Nurse
• Registered Nurse (KS) license through the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
• Associate Degree in Nursing
