RN Manager - Operating Room, Full-Time, Day Shift

About the Role

The Nurse Manager creates a safe, efficient, and patient-centered environment by supervising nursing and ancillary staff, ensuring high-quality care, and fostering a culture of open communication and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily unit activities, ensuring optimal patient care and staff performance.
• Recruit, retain, evaluate, and coach staff, promoting professional development and accountability.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and revise care plans.
• Monitor clinical outcomes, safety, regulatory compliance, and patient/family satisfaction through audits and data analysis.
• Manage staffing needs, schedules, and overtime to maintain appropriate coverage and throughput.
• Address operational issues, investigate patient care concerns, and facilitate team and family communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; Master’s preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice required.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience; 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
