About the role

The Nurse Manager oversees clinical operations within a hospital unit, ensuring a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment. They lead, supervise, and coordinate nursing and ancillary staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team. The role involves setting and achieving goals related to patient safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance, while promoting open communication and a culture of continuous improvement. The Nurse Manager conducts daily rounds, collaborates with physicians and staff, and addresses operational and patient care issues proactively. They are responsible for staffing, scheduling, and resource management to optimize patient throughput and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (required); Master’s preferred
• Valid RN licensure in the practice state
• Minimum of five years of technical nursing experience; leadership experience is preferred
