Manager RN - Operating Room, Full-Time, Day Shift
About the role
Creates a safe, efficient, and patient-centered environment by supervising nursing and ancillary staff, collaborating with healthcare team members, and ensuring high-quality care. Leads daily unit activities, maintains staff schedules, and promotes a culture of safety, communication, and continuous improvement. Monitors clinical outcomes, develops strategies to enhance patient and staff satisfaction, and manages personnel performance, including coaching, evaluations, and discipline. Conducts rounds, coordinates care plans with physicians and families, and addresses operational issues to optimize patient flow and safety. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and maintains a safe environment for staff and patients. Performs emergency preparedness reviews and other related duties to support organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's preferred.
- RN licensure in the practice state required.
- Relevant experience includes leadership, acute care, and clinical expertise.
- Certifications include BLS; specialty or admin certifications preferred.
