RN Manager - Labor and Delivery

Seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to oversee a healthcare unit, ensuring safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care. Responsibilities Include Leading and supervising nursing and ancillary staff, fostering a high-performing, collaborative team environment.Coordinating daily unit activities, managing staffing, and ensuring efficient operations aligned with organizational goals.Promoting a culture of safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance through data analysis and audits.Engaging in patient, family, and staff communication to enhance satisfaction and develop care plans.Monitoring personnel performance, conducting evaluations, and addressing educational and disciplinary needs.Managing patient throughput, discharge planning, and ensuring safety protocols to prevent complications.Collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate optimal patient care. Qualifications And Skills Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master’s preferred.Valid RN licensure in the practice state.Minimum five years of clinical experience, with at least one year in a leadership role preferred.Two years of acute care nursing experience preferred.Relevant certifications including BLS, NRP, FHM, ACLS, STABLE, TEAM, and experience with emergency preparedness.Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, with the ability to foster teamwork and continuous improvement. This role requires a proactive leader capable of managing staff, ensuring safety, and enhancing patient outcomes in a dynamic healthcare setting.
