RN Manager - Full Time Days

About the role

Manages nursing home staff and activities, including resident care, record-keeping, and resource allocation. Oversees shift staffing assignments based on resident needs and staff skills, monitors cleanliness and readiness of care areas, and provides direct nursing care as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assigns residents to staff and measures employee performance
• Trains new and existing staff and ensures quality resident care
• Administers oxygen, BLS, IVs, or medications as prescribed
• Monitors clinical practices and supports strategic planning
• Upholds administrative and financial standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required; graduate from accredited nursing programs preferred
• Minimum of three years nursing management experience, including two at managerial level
• At least one year of experience in long-term or subacute care
• Valid RN license
• Knowledge of nursing standards, administrative techniques, and management principles
