Nurse Manager - Full Time Days

The Nurse Manager is a registered nurse responsible for leading and managing a specific clinical unit or service, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and collaboration. Key responsibilities include overseeing clinical, financial, human, and material resources to ensure optimal patient care and operational outcomes. They serve as the chief safety and retention officer, utilizing data and technology to uphold quality standards and mitigate risks. The role involves creating a safe, collaborative work environment, promoting communication among physicians, staff, and patients, and modeling professional nursing practices aligned with the Professional Practice Model, 5-Star Nursing. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Nursing (Master's preferred), current licensure as a Registered Nurse (Georgia or multi-state compact), and BLS certification. A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required. The Nurse Manager demonstrates strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, promotes evidence-based practice, and supports staff development and professional growth.
