Role Overview
Responsible for the 24-hour management of an assigned hospital unit, ensuring patient care adheres to established standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the unit to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.
- Coordinate staff schedules, assignments, and resources to optimize workflow.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and safety protocols.
- Provide leadership, support, and guidance to nursing and support staff.
- Monitor patient outcomes and address any issues to improve quality of care.
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong leadership and management skills in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of healthcare standards, safety regulations, and patient care protocols.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in hospital or clinical management is preferred.
