About the role
Brookside Rehab & Nursing Center is seeking an experienced RN or LPN Weekend Nursing Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and ensure exceptional care for our residents. If you're a compassionate nurse who enjoys leading a team and making a difference, we'd love to meet you!
Schedule
- Part-time
- Every other weekend
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM OR 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Supervising and supporting nursing staff and nursing assistants.
- Ensuring quality resident care while promoting a positive team environment.
- Responding to resident needs and clinical concerns in a timely manner.
- Providing guidance and support to staff throughout the shift.
- Ensuring compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
- Communicating effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Assisting with admissions, discharges, incident follow-up, and clinical documentation as needed.
- Promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and compassionate care.
Requirements
- Current Virginia RN or LPN license in good standing.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required.
- Previous supervisory, charge nurse, or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
Pay
- LPN: $33.50 - $35.00 per hour
- RN: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
- Weekend shift differentials
- $2,500 sign-on bonus
