RN/LPN After-hours - Weekend
About the Role
AuthoraCare Collective is currently seeking a RN/LPN for our After-hours department supporting our Greensboro service area. This position is part-time every other Saturday/Sunday 9:00am - 7:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Assess and identify patient/caregiver problems
- Establish nursing patient/caregiver care goals
- Identify and implement interventions for all agency programs
- Document outcomes of care
- Work with physician to establish and implement medical plan of care for the patient
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with interdisciplinary group members, patients, caregivers, physicians, pharmacists, and other health care professionals and community service organizations
- Establish and maintain therapeutic relationship with patient/caregiver, including providing emotional support and teaching
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Currently licensed as an RN/LPN in North Carolina and in good standings with NCBON
- One year of experience in an acute, hospice, home health setting, or long-term care setting
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency
- Own transportation
Qualifications
CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
