About the role

Careers With Purpose joins a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing over 100 years of housing and services to seniors in a Christian environment. Located at 1011 Boundary Street Northwestand, Mandan, ND 58554, this position offers flexible scheduling and travel opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and age-specific standards.
• Coordinate care, perform resident assessments, educate residents, and manage various nursing interventions.
• Serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel as appropriate.
• Ensure the safe and reliable administration of resident care and resolve care concerns.
• Practice within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined by the Nurse Practice Act and state regulations.

Requirements

• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred).
• Minimum of 30 hours per month.
• One weekend shift per month.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
• Maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.

Pay & Schedule

• Salary range: $32.00 - $48.00 per hour.
• Varying shifts and schedules.

Skills

Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) is beneficial.

Schedule

Varies, with options for PRN (Per Request Not Required) weekly hours.

Pay

• $5/hour premium on all hours worked.
• $1.25/hour weekend shift differential.
• $1.25/hour evening/night shift differential (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM).

Travel

Mileage reimbursement provided for required travel to support multiple locations within a 150-mile radius of the permanent address.
