RN Lead - Relocation Required

About the role

Provide professional nursing care across the wellness-illness spectrum for healthy retired Sisters and those with acute, chronic, or terminal conditions in a specialized setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care by applying knowledge of infection control, safety, and body mechanics
• Ensure effective communication with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals
• Delegate tasks appropriately to support patient well-being
• Provide compassionate and competent nursing practices
• Interpret medical records, physician orders, and care plans

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Current RN licensure issued by the State of Texas
• Minimum of one year of gerontology experience
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of psychotropic and geriatric medications

Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective communication with Sisters, staff, and healthcare professionals
