Key Responsibilities
- Education (~40%-45%): lead onboarding and precepting of new nurses, coordinate continuing education opportunities, and develop staff competencies
- Patient Care (~25%): provide staffing coverage in chemo infusion, primary nursing and triage as needed
- Clinical Practice and Operations (~15%-20%): attend clinical practice meetings and tailor information to Medical Oncology and Chemo Infusion practices, develop standard workflows and documentation practices
- Quality (~10%): participate and assist in quality initiatives and be a co-SMART champion
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Nursing Degree
- Experience: Three (3) + years’ RN experience
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross
- Preferred: Two (2) + years of Oncology experience
