Join our compassionate Women's & Children's team as a Lactation Consultant at our non-profit hospital in Twin Falls, Idaho. In this rewarding role, you'll empower families through education, evidence-based lactation support, and collaborative care while making a lasting impact on the health and well-being of mothers and babies.
What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive breastfeeding assessments, education, and hands-on support to expectant and postpartum families.
- Develop individualized feeding plans that promote successful breastfeeding and infant nutrition.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
- Experience: 2 years’ clinical experience
- Licenses/Certifications: International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBLCE), Current RN License from the State of Practice, Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
- Preferred: Experience in Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, NICU, Pediatrics, or Women's Services, Experience supporting Baby-Friendly Hospital initiatives.
