RN - Labor & Birth / Night Shift

Role Overview: This position is for a full-time nurse working night shifts in a high-energy Obstetrics and Mother Baby unit. The unit features various specialized rooms, including LDR, high-risk antepartum, OBED, LIBC birthing suites, and surgical suites, with full-time Lactation Consultants available. Responsibilities: Maintain competencies in Labor & Birth, Antepartum, and OB Emergency Department. Flexible assignment to different departments based on patient care needs. Circulate cases in OR suites and provide comprehensive postpartum and newborn care. Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited nursing program. Possess an active RN license in the state or under a compact license. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks like reaching, bending, and squatting. Basic Life Support certification required, with additional certifications based on unit needs. Key Skills: Strong clinical skills in obstetric and neonatal care, adaptability to float between departments, physical stamina, and commitment to ongoing professional development.
