About the Role
Registered Nurse in Women & Infants Labor & Delivery with float pool responsibilities supporting multiple hospital locations.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
- Support multidisciplinary teams
- Prioritize patient wellness
- Model proficiency through precepting
- Contribute to safety and quality initiatives
- Adhere to evidence-based practices and standards such as AWHONN and AACN guidelines
- Support patients in labor, delivery, mother/baby, NICU, and related units
- Participate in clinical education
- Uphold safety and quality standards in a dynamic healthcare setting
Requirements & Qualifications
- Active RN licensure
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 6 months Women and Infants nursing experience or completion of a fellowship
- NRP certification within 6 months of hire
- BLS certification
- Relevant certifications
- Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
