RN- L&D Department- Full Time

Golden Plains Community Hospital is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our team on the night shift (7 pm - 7 am), with varying days.

About the Role

This position requires knowledge or willingness to learn Labor & Delivery (L&D), Nursery, Post-Partum, Antepartum, and GYN. Fetal monitoring and NRP certification are required. ACLS is preferred within six months of hire. While OBGYN experience is preferred, we will train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in Labor & Delivery, Nursery, Post-Partum, Antepartum, and GYN units.
• Maintain current certifications as required (e.g., NRP, fetal monitoring, ACLS).

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Texas RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• NRP certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Basic fetal monitoring certification within 90 days, Intermediate within 1 year, and Advanced within 2 years of hire.
• S.T.A.B.L.E certification within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS required within 1 year of hire.
• One or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
